Here's a beginners modelling tutorial on how to make dice. Rather than using booleans the tutorial shows you how to do it by regular polygon / point modelling.

Although the tutorial is recorded in Release 10, Release 9 and probably Release 8 owners as wel should be able to follow along without too many problems.

Flash format movie. 13min 46sec

Unzip and open the html file with your browser. The zip includes the scene file in Release 10 format.

Nice tutorial, made me see allot of new things for C4d(yes I'm a newbie indeed ;))

Hello! What key do i need to hold down and move it right? (bad eng., sorry)
nice, thank you
Very instructive. Thank you.
By the timethe authorof the tutorialsaid hold "down periodkey"(09:34),I gotlost andgot stuckin this parof the tutorialfor a moment.

I foundthe following solution and then i understood:

The period key is the key with the small . on it in many keyboard layouts; in a North American English layout, it is two keys to the left of the right Shift key, and is on the bottom row of many numeric keypads. It is the key you used to type the . in your post.Remember the term 'period' is American English for the English term 'full stop'

I'm not native, and some English terms could cause confusion. I hope this tip can help other people.
