im currently in the middle of creating my own little studio lighting rig, that i will most likely post in the downloads section.. its controlled with xpresso and i have learnt quite a lot while building it...

my question is, what would you guys want to see in a lighting rig..?

hm iam a bit confused, you are asking what do we want to see as far as controling it goes? or what will you place in it to test?

if its second thing, test some nice car paints

i would like to know what people want to have control over... basically so far its a 3 light studio, with adjustable light and backdrop colour and intensities.. gobo options for each of the three lights to create different reflections (not for shadows).

theres camera pan, height, zoom and a vignette option..

all of these controllers can be reset with the click of one button..

show some renders so we see what it produces, in my opinion what makes a nice studio lighting are reflections from some big softbox light, umbrella light, lid plane from above/sides...

from what you have written it sounds its point lights only?

hey guys, sorry it's taken so long for me to "release" this.. i've just been heaps busy with college work...

i know its not very exciting. but its just my way of giving something back to you guys!!

so here is the lighting rig.. its not super advanced or anything.. but if anyone has a problem just let me know!

feel free to post any renders using the setup.. and also, make sure to turn on global illumination..

ps. its a .lib4d file..
