Tips on using Cinebench To get the highest possible score we recommend that all background processes and other apps should be turned off and that only Cinebench is running while testing. Also, several runs should be made and the best posted. This should give Cinebench a chance to maximize the computer resources and give a realistic, optimal score. Please post the scores from the default tests.

You're PC spec is axactly what i am thinking of upgrading to. I have horrendous render times with current system. q6600, 2x 8800gtx, 4gig 800mhz ram, P5N-e SLi, Windows 7 64bit.
What are your render times like in C4D? this is the most important factor for me as C4D cripples my pc when rendering. I need to do photorealistic animation work and therefore advanced render needs to be set above average in some cases.
please advise.
