DPIT Effex

So I happened to run across the DPIT Effex plug-in and it looks pretty powerful, has anyone used this with success? Is there a better alternative for handling the amount of particles one needs for smoke/fire/sand?

No specific project, just looked fun

Construction plane for C4D 11.5

Let's say I have a platonic and I want to start creating geometry on one of it's sides. An Obvious approach is to use a contruction plane. But before I can start modelling I have to:
- copy platonic
- disconnect and explode it's segments
- fix axis center of the side I want to model on
- use "transfer" function on construction plane
Well, to me it's far too much work, just to have construction plane set right.
So here comes the question: is there a plugin that makes it easier to setup custom construction plane? No matter, free or commercial

Quite a while ago I saw there was some plugin available to give real time render preview which reminds me of modo's. Does this sound familiar to anyone and if so, what's the name of it? Thanks.

ivy plugin

Hi I tried that Ivy generator plugin in my C4D 11.5 and my ivy seems almost black no matter what lighting I try. Is the plugin totally compatible with 11.5 or maybe I am doing something stupidly wrong. Never had any issues with it in earlier versions of C4D.

Cheers...Dave
