Greetings All!

I am pleased to announce the launch of a project initiative by yours truly ... LAUNCHicons: Animated desktop gadgets for launching applications, documents, folders and websites.

View Demo Video HERE

You can learn more, view live animated previews, and download the LAUNCHicons from LAUNCHicons.com.
There are only 3 available on the site for now, more coming soon.

Cinema 4D is one of the main ingredients in the creation of these guys and I would like to pay homage to MAXON for C4D and 3DKiwi and the entire C4D Cafe Community for all the knowledge and support over the years.

Please visit the site, give them a spin and let me know what you think.

Hope to to see you all there.

Kind regards,
ChaNinja

Thank you Rich_Art!

They don't take up any CPU, only some ram, however theres a quick Enable/Disable function in the Manager that lets you reclaim the ram if you need to e.g. when playing games, rendering heavy scenes etc.

Hope you give it a shot.

Dontorry Rich_Art, they're all free, I'll only be charging for custom jobs and maybe larger 'sets' of 5-10 launchicons in the future.

I've just had a play with them and they are realy nice. Will there be more icons to purchase and will it be possible for folk to make their own icons? I think, since you posted here and the icons were produced using C4D you realy need a C4D icon for folks here at the cafe.:bigwink:
If in doubt, scream and shout.

Thanks so much James for trying them out. I'm really glad you like it.

You bet! There will definitely be a C4D icon coming soon. If I'm not mistaken, MAXON had included the logo in C4D format in one of the releases, which makes it all the easier for me to turn it into a launchicon =D

Currently I'm quite busy with some other work I'm trying to wrap up, then I'll be traveling for two weeks from 1st April, but when I return around 18th April, I'll be dedicating all my time into creating many more LAUNCHicons (free and commercial), so please keep an eye out.

If you registered at the site you'll get en email notification as soon as I release new LAUNCHicons.

Currently its not possible to create your own unless you own DesktopX Pro by Stardock. But if you like, you can supply me with your renders for you own icon and I can build the gadget for you. I would need PNG frames, preferably 140x140 pixels and around 30-80 frames. Email me if you're interested.

Kind regards,
ChaNinja
