I'm on a 20 hr C4d bender and I'm trying to get the moon and clouds to move higher on the 'bluenight' preset. If I move the whole hierarchy (the bluenight null object), the Infinite lights snap out of position after I change the frame. Am I supposed to change the date settings to move everything? When I change them, I see little to no difference.

Thanks!

If I understand what you're saying, I think you need to double-click the Sky Volume Material in the Material Manager, click on Astro, uncheck Auto, then adjust or animate the Azimuth and Altitude settings.
