I have a question about using a camera in 4d 11.5, I have created a character and have saved it a various stages and i wanted to create a movie showing the creating of the object, basically having the camera spin round the object rendering it for each object and bring each clip together in a movie editing program and paste it all together. Now in 3d max you would create your camera and then a circle, make the circle a path constriant for the camera and then click on follow and the camera would move along the circle no problem. Since changing to cinema 4d i don't know how to do it and was hoping that some one here could explain it to me, as i have looked for tutorials on how the cameras work but i can't really find anything for what i am looking for.

Hi

you can do it the on the same way like in max. create a circle spline and set the camera along that spline.

Just like Salvatore said...create a circle spline, use your target camera and give it an align to spline tag. You can then animate the offset on the align to spline tag to get your perfect rotation while the cameras target is located on the object you want to film

Or you could put a Null Object in the same position as the object you want to film, drop the camera into the Null Object and then just key frame a 360º turn of the Null Object.
