  1. Thanks, Igor! Appreciate the reply. Things are going well, thank you! I've contacted MAXON and now just waiting on their reply Thanks again, mate!
  2. Wow! Long time no see, guys! If you don't remember me, I was a pretty heavy Cinema 4D user a few years ago. Since graduating college, I've started my own photography business and have pretty much ceased using Cinema 4D, unfortunately. Anyway, I do have a question... I own Release 11, 12 and 13. The problem is the install discs are lost somewhere in storage. Is there a way (like with Adobe) that I can download an older version of Cinema 4D (R13)? I still have my serial number... Thanks, guys!
  3. Thanks for the kind words everyone! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll be able to put up some more work. I only want to show, what I consider, my best work.
  4. I have completely revamped my portfolio. For anyone interested, the link is in my signature!
  5. ^ What greasemonkey said. Also, setting the camera projection to "parallel" will help sell this effect...
  6. Thank you Steve. May you rest in peace.
  7. I don't think this problem is specific to r13. It used to happen occasionally back in 11.5 and then in 12. I have a feeling it's OS X related...
  8. Here is a tutorial from greyscalegorilla that will help you with the animating link
  9. $14 - http://www.c4dmodelshop.com/description.php?lang=2&path=38&sort=Id&page=0&id=274
  10. They are some excellent points you're raising Adam. I didn't realise how pretentious the quote sounded until you said something, but I'm glad you did. And I did notice the typographic errors, but I only saved it as jpeg because I'm an idiot and don't have the file to edit. I'll probably just remove the whole thing in the end. Thanks again for the feedback guys! It's very helpful. I also plan to remove most of the Woronora images and just link to the rest of the images via flickr.
  11. I just ran a test from 11.5 to 12. The visible light is shown in the reflection. Maybe you could upload the r11 scene and I or someone else can have a look?
  12. Thanks Salvatore. 3DKiwi, I didn't realise the scrolling thing would be such an issue for people. I do like the idea of a slideshow, but the slideshow on cargo collective gives me trouble. Hopefully I'll figure out a way around it. Thanks again guys!
  13. The software costs that much, but the tutorial is only $20. As 3DKiwi said, most of the techniques in the modo tutorial would translate to cinema 4d.
  14. You could also use a spline mask, this would keep both shapes completely live and makes for very easy changes.
  15. I use the Logitech Control Centre that came with my mouse (mx revolution). I'm not sure if it works the same on a pc. But it allows you to remap the buttons specifically, depending on the app that is open.
