Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to add a static background image to the viewport to use as reference?
I seem to remember that you go to:
Attributes > Mode > View settings > Back > the option is greyed out?

Any help is great,

Thanks

This method only works in any mode other than perspective, so you use it for the elevation views (front/top/etc). To add a reference photo in perspective, either add a plane or a a background object and apply a texture to it.

In R11 you can add a picture in perspective view using doodle. See Cineversity.
