Hi,

I've always had this problem with hair. If I build an object in one file its fine - ie I can render it out no problem. However when I copy and paste it to a new file, only the object the hair is attached to shows up in renders. Bit of a current problem as I built a great set of hair objects a few months back which fit right into a new scene I've built. I know I could copy and paste the new scene into the old one but just wondering if anyone knows why this happens and if there's a way to copy and paste a hair object that renders in the new file. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Check to see that "Hair" is checked in the Render Setting>Effect>Hair.
