So, as the title says. How many C4D shortcuts can you remember from the top of your head? Universal shortcuts like ctrl+z, ctrl+c, ctrl+o, etc, doesn't count.

I can think of 19... Also, are there some shortcuts that are good to know, or that you use a lot? Personally, I couldn't work without U-Y (grow selection). Imagine having to manually select that tool every time you wanted to grow your selection... *shudder*.
I'm sorry, dangerous wild coyote wolf, I can't go hunt with you today. I am talking to the internet.

I know shortcuts for the view-ports (changing, moving, zooming etc) and that's about it.
If I know Ill be using a tool repeatedly, Ill remember the shortcut only to forget about an hour after being away from the computer.
I can barely remember my home address most of the time, so it's not shocking for me. :)

edit: I also know move, scale and rotate shortcuts, but always get confused and hit the wrong one...

I'll have to write them down and then count.

Alt+D hide axis
Shift + V Display / Viewport properties
U ~ L Loop selection
U ~ B Ring selection
9 Temp Live selection
10 Temp Rectangle selection
4 Temp Move
5 Temp Scale
6 Temp Rotate
Ctrl + R Render
Ctrl + D Document settings
Ctrl + E Preferences
P Snap settings
X, Y, Z enable disable axes
K Knife
C Make editable

So what's that. 16. Others like the 2 key ones I can remember to press the U key. I then select from the popup. Everything else I prefer to customize my layouts and click on a button. I'd rather save my internal ram memory for other stuff!!

Plus the space bar of course to toggle between the Live selection tool and the last used tool.

I think I've memorized most of theml. I've remapped a few to different buttons so they are closer to my hands :) I'm a shortcut junky !

I guess I shoud do as Nigel just did: (I'm on azerty layout so 123 doesn't work for me :) )

& = Live selection
é = Rectangle selection
m+ù = weld
m+0=Kyama slide(or whatever it's called :D)
k = knife
Alt+ mousebuttons for navigation (though on ubuntu I've remapped them to shift+mousebuttons)
e,r,t for the object navigation
u+y = grow selection
u+k = shrink selection
v =my pop-up menu
c = make editable
alt + D to hide axis bar
control+ slide axis bar for move and object without its parent
Shift for temp switching to snap settings
p for snap options
Ctrl+ tool switching to for example convert points to polygons
M+a= Add point
u+z = melt polygons
U+l = Loop selection
ctrl + R= render
Ctrl + E=preferences
ctrl+ S= safe
Ctrl+F10 = should be something like command manager, not totally 100% about this one
All those nudge script shortcuts from ctrl+ + etc :) too

There's probably tons more that I can remember in a situation but they don't really strike me now. It's quiet a list, and I know I could get far more If I were to open C4D.(which recently it won't for some reason)

More than i can count =P

I love shortcuts, a lot of them are custom especially on the tilda key for creating nulls, cubes, sphere, centering axis, optimizing mesh.

And i have a 17 button mouse so my right hand doesnt sit idle either =) ( Razer Naga)
