Hi everyone. The wait is finally over. My updated Discovering BodyPaint with 3DKiwi set of videos tutorials is finally done after much delay!!

I'm really proud of these videos and they are a significant improvement over my previous DVD that came out about 4 years ago. The explanations and examples are better. After the previous DVD came out a number of people suggested that they would have preferred if I had covered UV mapping characters. I am happy to say that this is now very well covered.

These tutorials come as a download only. You can purchase with your Credit card or with your Paypal account. You do not need a Paypal account.

The price is NZ $99.00. Sounds a lot but that's about US $75 at today's exchange rate so at the lower end of what other similar length video tutorials cost.

You can find out more information and download the free 11 minute sample video from the information page.

Below are some larger version samples.

Cheers
Nigel / 3DKiwi

Probably a 'must have' but 2Gb is a hefty download. Can you give any indication of server speed...or did I miss that already?
I may not be good but I'm slow.

Nigel,

The images are gone in my post on the Lounge. Is it forbidden to link to those images that you know of??

Peace,
Rich_Art. :)

Server download speed is around 400 - 500 kb/s i.e. normal cafe download speed. The 2gb is broken down into smaller downloads. You then get 2 days to download. If that's an issue then I'm happy to reload file(s) for people to download.

Yeah sorry Rene. I have the cafe's files set up for anti leeching and anti linking. I have picked up Chinese sites directly linking to our files and images. Feel free to copy them from here and upload at your site.

I was about to purchase, but don't have my credit card number by hand (never use it aymore since Paypal).
Any change to provide Paypal facilities? Or is that too cumbersome?

Thanks.
Daniel

Hi Nigel,

does the free upgrade offer for those who bought the previous DVD at a certain point still stand?
All the best,
G.

Sample tutorial video looked good so I've ordered my copy today. Bodypaint has remained largely a mystery to me for a long time so looking forward to getting to grips with it. Hope you make a lot of sales.
Thanks 3DKiwi :)

Will look at the sample video when I have the time.

What would you say the starting skill for these video's should be, as I'm not very familiar with bodypaint.

Congrats on the release.

I wonder if the cafe running slow is the entire universe downloading the free sample? Support ticket filed as it should be able to handle a few simultaneous downloads.

Re free upgrade. I ran a promotion for a few months in 2009 whereby if you bought the DVD you got the updated one for free. This was for a limited time only. All 61 people who qualified have been emailed and asked for them to confirm their email address. The only one where I received a bounced email was A Harvey so A Harvey needs to get in touch. Sorry to say that people who purchased the DVD outside of this promotion don't qualify. I pretty much stopped taking orders for the DVD once the promotion finished. If anyone thinks they purchased within this time frame and haven't received an email from me, please get in touch. I can check through the orders for your name.

Thanks to those that have ordered. I'll load you up once I suss out why the cafe is running slow. One thing I'll need to change on the download email is not to use a download managers and stack up all of the files. You need to download one at a time otherwise the system things you have downloaded the file and you'll run out of download attempts.

Spammers can't download the files if that's what you are referring to. The files are stored in a non web accessible folder on the cafe's server i.e. above public_html
