A bit hard to compete with the reaper at the rate hes going. He'll have a whole city done before I even start. Nice though.

JimReaper, your building will have only one entrance/door? That is not much for such a structure. Impressive none the less. :signthankspin:

Loftnurbs etc. are allowed with primitive splines (like circle spline)? Just wanted to know before I start ;-)

Yes. I will update the rules.

One that I don't think should be allowed is the "BezierNurbs" object. I will also add that to the not allowed list.

Those of us that started out with Bryce should really enjoy this. Modelling in Bryce consists of using primitive objects only and booleans and arrays. It does however allow zillions of booleans to be used without any overhead.

Here is what I have prepared: a fountain with a water tap. The body of the fountain is a "dense" cube, as I used the collision deformer to kind of extrude the basin and the top of it. In this case I used the colision deformer as an advanced metaballs deformer (good one, isn't it?)

@Jim, really nice one.

Dmac, text is not excluded and mabad has text in his entry so go ahead. Just don't make the text spline primitive 'editable'.
I may not be good but I'm slow.

Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated. As far as the doors are concerned, I have a couple to add at the front below the main entrance, but that's it. The house is based on a number of different stately homes I've visited in the past, most of which only have the one door at the front then a couple round the back for servants to use.

There are some great entries coming through, I love yours poodles, it's one of my favourite games.

Nice plane dataflow, I really like that.

Here's an update from me, the house is there or there abouts finished. I've still got a few bits I want to add, then on to the texturing.

Is there an easier way for me to provide the info in the object manger, or or you guys happy with the way I'm doing it? I'm just thinking in advanced for when I post my final, as it stands now they'll be at least 5 images I'm posting!!!

Cheers

architectual people will most likely get the most out of this challenge. but can you loosen up on the spline what about a single spline.

If I was working in single screen mode than that would certainly help, but with my dual screen layout I can't make my OM any larger even if I undock it.

Thanks for the suggestion though, it's much appreciated.

@Jim: Maybe you can send 3DKiwi/the judges the file when you turn in your final - to avoid the hassle.
