Our History

C4D Cafe opened its doors on May 1, 2004 in an effort to fill a niche for CINEMA 4D animators. Nigel Doyle (3DKiwi) and Crew Reynolds (3DCrew) were the founders of "The CINEMA 4D Animator's Home Page". Almost immediately we found that there was a need and that the C4D Cafe was serving a purpose. It quickly grew to become an integral part of the Cinema 4D community and today is home to 17,500+ members. The "The CINEMA 4D Animator's Home Page" part has been dropped as the Cafe now caters for all aspects of CINEMA 4D. The continual growth has forced us to upgrade our hosting a few times. The Cafe moved to a Quad Core Server in April 2008 to meet current and future demands.

Our Community

C4D Cafe is all about learning and doing 3D and using CINEMA 4D to achieve this. A big draw card is the Cafe's video tutorials. Along with the video tutorials is a very active and friendly forum and gallery. The Cafe runs a fortnightly themed challenge. Winners receive an award and their winning image is placed in the Challenge Winners section of the gallery.

The Cafe Today

In 2007 Cafe co founder Crew Reynolds stepped down from the day to day running of the cafe. The cafe is now 100% owned by Nigel Doyle / 3DKiwi. Alan Harris and Kathie Berry have joined the admin team to help run things.

We cap our rotating banners at 12 slots each and allow you to purchase as many of these slots as you need. This allows you to control how often your ad is presented to the community. For example, purchasing 6 of the 12 slots will cause your banner ad to appear to 50% of the visitors. You can purchase as few as 1 slot or as many as the full 12 slots if they are available.

Advertisers will find our method of charging superior to the $5.00 per 1000 views that many sites charge.

Banner ads must not contain objectionable material. Ads appear on the front page, forums, links section & download sections in the same position as the image below.
