Imported DWG model
DWG is the a widely used file format of CAD programs. CINEMA 4D can now import 3D models in this format. Here's an imported part that I brought in. You'll notice that the model is triangulated. To fix this you can run the Untrinagulate command which does a reasonable job of cleaning the mesh up.

Have you ever played around with the settings of something like a material and then wanted to return the setting or settings back to their original state and been like me and forgotten what the original state was? If so, you will appreciate the ability to right click on most parameters and select the Reset To Default command which will restore that particular parameter back to its default state. You can do multiple selections of parameters by Ctrl clicking on them and then invoking the reset command.

Native CINEMA 4D file format can be opened directly in Allplan 2008.
Auto-Save function. I think many of us will be saying "About time too." If you're like me and been computering for around 25 years or, so I sub consciously press Ctrl + S every 5 - 10 minutes so I'll be able to give my brain a holiday for the rest of my life now!!
And that's about it. We may have left out one or two very minor enhancements but we have pretty much covered all new features and enhancements in Release 10.5.
