I found that the Vray for C4D system is a terrific addition to an already great program. The ability to add real world lighting expands the options for realistically lit scenes and animations. It is deep in options and functions and will definitely take the new user some time to get up to speed and familiar with all of the settings and what they do. But the rewards for doing so are great. The developers are constantly working on adding new capabilities and are available to users via a wonderful forum for discussion, help and file sharing. Any short comings in the program are being worked on as we speak and new functions added. The developers are also open to suggestions for new functions and additions from users.
The price is not cheap, but the program and it´s capabilities live up to it´s claims of being one of the best real world lighting and rendering solutions out there for CINEMA 4D. All in all, I am very pleased with not only the program, but the support and forward looking vision of the developers.
