In this tutorial we take a look at the Subsurface Scattering Shader in Cinema 4D. We learn about it's settings and what they mean. We also look at how we can optimise those settings so we can reduce render times.

Great tutorial! Thanks. I would add that lower Path Length numbers give more surface detail but longer render times.

Cheers! Yeah, I should have mentioned that, this is one of my earlier tutorials (Oct 2015) so the quality isn't as good as some of my later ones.
