By GuestThis plugin is a great alternative to the built in symmetry object that comes with Cinema 4D. You can model using symmetry without having to cut the object in half. Just simply place the True Symmetry Tag on a polygon object, enable symmetry, and begin modeling. You will see right away that the opposite side of your model is created without having to lift a finger. This is a useful modeling plugin for character modeling and all other modeling styles.
This plugin includes versions for Mac and Windows and works with Cinema 4D 10+.
We hope you enjoy this plugin as much as we enjoyed making it.
This plugin was created by Nebu, and Shawn Foster (emberintherain).
check out a quick tutorial Aleksey made over here: http://ace5studios.com/true-symmetry-cinema4d-make-your-life-easier-in-1-easy-step/
To avoid the bugs with the background, turn off "show plane" once you have set up your symmetry.
By 3DKiwiPerfect Split fixes the problem of not being able to simply cut a polygon, or group of polys, from a mesh and paste that group as a new object; leaving a hole where it once was. Instead of the tedious task of copying, pasting, deleting unneeded polys, optimizing meshes and blah blah blah; what a waste of time, but no more! 1 click solutions rule!
Works with R16 - 3DKiwi.
By C4DSThis is a quickly written script to hide polygons except for those belonging to selected points or edges. Allowing to work on models by hiding polygons and focusing on those that do matter.
Assign a shortcut to the script and you can use the same shortcut to hide and unhide the polygons.
By C4DSRewrite of the original "Points to Circle" script in Python.
Runs on R20 and previous versions of Cinema 4D.
By alishlyelnurThis plugin generate the diagram on Cinema4D.
Tested on Cinema4D R16, R17, R18 on Windows 10 and OS X 10.11.2 This plugin generates 3D diagram with animated coins in the bars.
You can edit many parameters of diagram during generation.
You can edit some parameters after generation .
This generator allows you to show the name of the diagram, the value of the columns and their
names, and also shows the curve of the values change. If the corresponding attributes are not
specified, they will not be displayed in the scene, respectively. You can also specify the font of
the used titles and their colors. You can also control the speed of appearance of the columns,
the thickness and number of coin faces, their color and reflection.
You can also show the coordinate axes, their names and give them the required color. The
generator allows you to generate an environment that is floor, background and lighting.
Accordingly, letting you specify any colors for each of these attributes.

By ArsenUnfold3D Exporter for Cinema4D R18 / Win
Unpack plugin in Cinema4D R18\Plugins directory
Start Cinema4D and open Options window: Plugins > U3D Exporter > Options
Specify the work path of the unfold3d.exe
By 3DKiwiHere's a simple script that takes a selection of points and arranges them into a circle. Also works in edge and polygon mode. Make sure you only select the outer elements i.e. select a ring of points. if you don't do this, the plugin won't work.
Copy the script into your scripts folder which you access via the Script menu on the toolbar. Restart C4D and you'll find the script in the Script menu. Do your selection then run the script. Resize the circle of points, edges or polygons using the scale tool. You can change the default size of the circle by editing the script.
By kaluginI wrote this plugin some years ago, I was coming from 3dsMax to C4D and the lack of grouping really was bothering me :) After I learned some python, this was my solution.
It still needs some polishing, but I use it all the time, so I think maybe you guys will like it too.
Here is a quick overview
By carelThis is a Thread Generator for Bolt and Screw threads.
I added a subdivision option for lower poly's and a few other options.
I kept it as simple as possible so I don't think it will be too difficult to play around with.
Hope it is of some use
By carelThis is the first part of my "Bolt Factory" series: Hexagon Bolt
You can create any Hex bolt you want: see Image
I think it won't be too difficult to work this but if there's any questions let me know.
If you are done with designing your bolt just press the button "Create_Bolt" at the bottom of the controls and it will create the bolt object.
Keep a lookout for the next bolt type in my series "Bolt Factory.
PS. This was created with R14.
By VianaBasic Script to batch rename rendered files located in the directory specified in the render settings - "Regular Save" path.
i.e. Suppose your sequence files looks like this: filename_ao0001.tif, and you want to rename according to your
studio naming convention (say: <fileName>_<UPPERCASE_renderpass>_<number>.tif).
- Just replace "ao" with "AO_".
Had to do it for work purposes, and decided to share.
Remember it only replaces file names in the directory specified in the render settings.
By 3DKiwiHere's a superb plugin from Cafe member "Darter". What this plugin does is it automatically deletes polygons that are generated on the mirror plane when modelling and using a symmetry object. It also has an option to lock the points on the mirror line to prevent accidental movement that often occurs.
R16 users - you don't need this plugin as similar functionality is now built into C4D.
By weaverBusiness Graphs 3 is a 3DWeave plug-in for Cinema4D (both MAC or PC), R.12 and up.
Business Graphs 3 creates graphs such as bar-graphs, pie charts, area graphs, surface graphs, line graphs, out of
numerical values. Then, it can animate them automatically. Features
Table value with a 12x12 cell array (144 values). Save datas as .csv.
Import .CSV (values are separated by a semi-colon ‘ ; ’ ). MS Excel, any spreadsheet, most databases can export .CSV.
Up to 1000x1000 values (text legends not included). The table values are interpreted within a range from -100 000 000 to +100 000 000 with 3-digit decimals (i.e. 0.001 accuracy).
Text legends (as an option) if there is text into the .csv. file (as lines or columns headers). Height, thickness settings. Still editable as 100% C4D text.
NEW feature allows you to display Data values as texts (optional).
Level-0, bottom, side and back planes to frame the chart volume.
Colors presets for charts, legends texts and planes. Create or edit presets with Cinema4D.
Very user-customised charts with the choice of the basic shape (C4D 3D primitives and its parameters, C4D 2D splines and its parameters, your own 2D spline, your own 3d object)
Settings for width, height and lenght size (of the all chart or the basic shape).
Generate fully-editable C4D objects hierarchy, easy to modify.
NEW ! Animations are generated automatically with timeline settings, including delay, pause or overlay settings between values. With or without an additionnal “bouncing effect†!
NEW ! Our plugin is now a dockable window. Generate a new graph each time you click ‘OK' without closing. Try, re-try and do it again painless until you're happy with your chart !

By spedlerA simple plugin to toggle Global Illumination on and off. That's all it does, but could be useful if you switch frequently between standard and global illumination.
Full source code is included, heavily commented, so this is an open-source plugin. You are free to modify and recompile it at will.
By spedlerA Cinema 4D script for removing texture tags which are not associated with a material.
If an object has a texture tag, but there is no material assigned to that tag, the tag appears in the object manager with a white 'X' across it. Deleting one or two of these is not a problem, but if you have a file with lots of nested objects, finding and deleting them all may be a real chore.
This script will find and remove all texture tags which don't have a material associated with them.
Two versions are provided, one for R11/R11.5, and one for R12. The R11 version of the script MAY also run in Cinema R10/10.5, but this has not been tested.
By 3DKiwiHere is a plugin courtesy of Cafe member Deepshade. The SplineMapper plugin was a plugin that the member had custom developed for him. Deepshade has kindly made the plugin available free to Cafe members.
The plugin is a bit like a Path Deformer for splines. i.e. you use one spline as a deformer to deform another spline. The zip file includes Windows and Mac versions. The plugin works with R11 and 11.5 and probably works with R10 as well. A couple of sample scene files are included as well.
Have fun. You are free to use the plugin in whatever projects that you want to but you cannot redistribute the plugin.
