  1. Polygon Pen

Here's a 55 minute tutorial about the awesome new Polygon Pen tool. (Replaces Create Polygon tool). Brush on polygons, tweaking points, edge and polygons without changing mode, extruding, auto welding points and edges, basic knife cutting, subdivide edge, curve edges and more. This video covers the Polygon Pen tool's entire functionality.

This tutorial is hosted on Vimeo. Clicking on the download link will take you there. You will be able to download the original high res version rather than watching the low quality streaming version.

Update: I've added a short section on deleting elements and using the tool with dynamic guides.

  2. Team Render Server

Here's a 15 minute video of me playing around with the new Team Render Server. Note that I don't cover everything and I had only started using TR Server 30 minutes prior to recording the video. That said, I was able to get it up and running and render a few job without any issues.

  3. R16 Reflectance Channel

Here's a 50 minute video of me playing around with the new Reflectance channel. The reflection and specular channels have now been combined into one new "Reflectance" channel. Realistic metals and cloth materials are now easy to create as is adding a clear coat shiny layer over the top.

Note: there are a ton of settings in the new Reflectance channel and this video is essentially a video of me messing around just to show you some of the settings. I still have a lot to learn. Enjoy.
