  • Aston Martin One-77.  Lighting practice in Corona using a pretty chunky old model from Turbosquid.

Great stuff A. I found Poliigon's textures to be very useful and low price! :)

Thanks. Poliigon is trying out models and I hope they stick around and expand their library. I've been using their textures for all my personal work and am about to upgrade to a commercial license to use it for my professional work. Best thing is they wrote a plug in that will let you search your downloaded textures from them, choose your render engine (physical, Corona, Arnold, Octane, vray) and in one click it will hook up all the maps and make your material for you in the scene. It's brilliant.

  • Surprise - more cars.  Trying to light a matte paint job.  Aston Martin Gran Tourismo Concept by 3dCloud.company.  I modified the body and retextured the whole thing.  Figure by Keianhzo via Sketchfab.

  • 12.06 Wrapping up with week of car renders with a classic.  Not sure where I got this model from (a million years ago) - if anyone knows the author, please let me know.  Retextured by me and rendered with Corona.

    Ha ha...so funny!

Thanks for sharing all the stunning pictures. Very inspirational...even more so as I have just started looking at corona.

Interesting to to see your models from VW too. I do some modelling in VW but have always gone to Cinema for modelling when things get more complex. Just can’t seem to get my head into the way modelling is done in VW !

    thanks again for sharing...truly appreciated.
