Motion Tracker Render Error

Recommended Posts

plaidam    0

I'm doing a basic motion track. The result looks great in my viewport. I can scrub around the timeline and the track looks good but when I render out the video it floats around the frame in a weird looking way. I've redone it a couple of times in both r17 and r18.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

Take a look a the render here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xkgj9ak2yk3ibso/render_error.mp4?dl=0

I also followed a few tutorials to see if I was doing anything wrong but got the same result.

Hi, it's hard to tell from your screenshot but  have you projected your footage on to a floor object?

  • Yes, I have a background object with the footage projected frontal. I get the same result if I add a plane or not.

I've also exported an alpha channel render and combined the render and footage in after effects and got the same strange result.

  • Ignore that. It appears I mismatched the frame rate.

    Thanks anyhow.
