Connecting texture maps help

Recommended Posts

So I found this texture pack on Gumroad and figured I could build my self simple Redshift material library out of it. Well, I'm not so sure if I'm plugging those maps in right places

Can someone look this over and give me some input on this please?

I think you need to swap glossiness and spec. Spec into reflection weight and glossiness into refl roughness. There’s an option in the RSmaterial node (I think in the advanced tab) to translate gloss maps into roughness, so try enabling that too.

Also, I don’t know what that OCC texture is meant to do. Might not need it(?).

Otherwise seems good!

Ohhhhhhh... Hahah, duh.  Now it makes sense.

Yeah I suppose if the occluded areas in the texture are dark, then it's fine to pipe it into the diffuse weight.
