As long as you mean this XYZ part of the menus are all switched on:

and you haven't accidentally grabbed only two axis when scaling so it looks like this (in white) when scaling:

then you will have to upload a scene or at least video/screenshot.

You may also have to do screenshots or a video to show the issue. The project file might be OK and it might be specific to your setup somehow.

Interesting problem. Not what I first thought it was. But I do notice that if you copy and paste that tree into a new scene it then behaves properly.

That would suggest your current scene is broken somehow. You might have to copy / paste the whole lot !

  • Thanks a lot. Yea thats the only solution i found as well. Copy pasting is not an option always though, especially cause i use octane and things start to break up in shaders with copy paste. Lets see if someone else has an idea over this. Thanks again mate

Ok I found the answer - it's some really weird old functionality that locks the axis. The unusually yellow handles give us the clue I missed initially. The solution ? Double click it !

Tested and works in your file.

Aw man - that was totally new functionality to me ! Ya learn something every day, and today I learned I was wrong to imagine I knew everything about the axis ! :)
