Is there a method to accurately display specular reflections displayed by the OpenGL viewport without rendering links?
The one I want to make is a mirror.
GGX etc are fixed parks.
Or is there a shader plugin displaying other viewports?

Hello, and welcome to the cafe

What do you mean 'specular reflections' ? Specular and reflection are different things.

What do you mean 'without rendering links' ?

What do you mean 'GGX etc are fixed parks' ?

What do you mean by 'other viewports' ?

I am also confused because a mirror uses primarily reflection not specular, and specular is visible in the viewports as standard isn't it ?!

So is reflection in R19.

Please could you elaborate, because I'm really not understanding what you want at the moment !

  • There was a chess game in Cinema 4d.
What I am building now is a game that works only with Cinema 4D.
Next time I wanted a mirror.
I will connect the screen of the viewport and the bitmap of the material.
Is there any other way? I bought Cinema 4d Studio and soon began making plug-ins. The SDK is a little more detailed than the C4D default function.
The Unreal engine is incompatible with me. However, cinema4D's C ++ SDK is very fine and me.
Please tell me how to make a mirror.
    Rendering is not necessary.
Also, please introduce the game engine for Cinema 4D or the site making the game.

I understood very little of that myself, but in the bit you mention @maliohammad I think he's trying to find out which 'game engine', or if not that, then what else makes possible the hidden chess game in Cinema...

Is there a chess game in c4d? the only game that I have seen so far is the one made by Chris from GSG in half res.

Shift+C, then type CHESS - it's been there since R9 or so...Cinema's main little hidden secret apart from the Xmas and Easter special material preview objects...

I have never seen this before, it is not even in the documentation. I guess c4d has some secrets after all...

  • The default reflection will be a park.
When you insert an image into the light emission of the SKY object, the reflection becomes an image.
I can not make it a mirror.
If someone is making games with Cinema 4D, I think the first wall is a mirror.
Is there anyone who tried it?

In 20 years of 3D I have never heard the word 'park' to do with reflections. In English a park is a leafy recreational area full of lakes, playgrounds and ducks. Can you see why we're struggling ?! :) What do you mean by that ?!

  • I was able to understand.
    Park and reflection are one.
You have lived with this park for 20 years.
    I make reflective material plug-in myself · · ·
    salute! :)
