90second challenge (modeling techniques)

Recommended Posts

I once read a thread on the forum polycount.com where there was a battle of ZBrush vs 3Ds Max.
For me it was unexpected that ZModeler Zbrush was very fast. But the user 3ds used scripts.
After a bit of thought, I decided to test the theory about combining the best of the two worlds inside C4D.
I did it in 53 seconds, without using plugins and scripts.
C4D Win !

Thank you for sharing.  I didn't know they added the select every other poly tool in c4d under the sculpting settings.  I will be using this.

It is hard for me to know if this is a good time as I don't know what they got with zbrush or 3dsmax.  Do you remember the times and results of the zbrush and 3dsmax?

I liked your technique to use the mesh check as a selection tool as well. Very clever :)

I'm quite impressed with ZModeler now.  That tool to make a hole in a ton of polygons all around all at once then have it repeat the last commend is pretty cool.

    Thank you for sharing.
