Need Urgent Texturing Help

Recommended Posts

So I'm currently trying to texture an old Television set but I'm really struggling with trying to make it feel realistic. Basically at this point I can take any help I need as the deadline is for this friday! I've attached some images, reference photos and the C4D file! Many thanks!

I'd recommend using an HDRI to light the scene. That will give you some nice reflections on the screen. Also, do you have any experience with Corona renderer?

  • Okay thank you! I have yet to properly texture the screen, hoping to find some realistic textures for the rest of the TV first. And no I don't, I know of it but have zero experience.

Yeah man! You're gonna need some more detail added to the TV. I did some really rough renders with Corona haha. I would highly suggest checking it out!

If you have a decent understanding of Cinema 4D, then picking up Corona is a breeze. And it's free at the moment while in beta :)
