Quad solving cheatsheet

I have been trying to save screenshots of hard surface models when the creator has solved some tricky problem. My question is, does anyone know of a resource of any kind where common extrusions, edges, holes, etc have been solved back to quads in a way I can refer to when I'm modelling? 


I know that often problems are unique to the model, however the same problems do arise again and again and are solved in similar ways. Surely someone has put together a handy cheatsheet of these common solutions?

    For instance I had a problem the other day where I was trying to get edge loops in this kind of thing but it was on a cylinder and there was no edge to go out to, so all the loops had to go back on themselves. I puzzled over this for hours. I feel like there must be lots of standard problems like this.
