XPcloth working with deformers

Recommended Posts

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to get xparticles cloth to work with C4D deformers.  Whatever I do they just won't work with each other.  In the file below it can be seen what I mean.  I have two curtains.  One with c4d cloth and one with xparticles cloth.  The c4d cloths pinned points are reacting properly to the Squash & Stretch deformer.  The xparticles cloth does nothing.  What am I missing?

Looks like only way is bake plane3 object (PLA and removed deformer) or work with polygonal instance. (I was tried with xs_yann plugin).

Both works fine. Maybe it´s priority issue...

I don't have XP anymore so can't look at your setup or test your scene, but have you tried using the Cloth Deformer approach? From memory this should work I believe.

I think you are right.  The baking probably fixes the priority issue by forcing it to do the one first.  Too bad xparticles does not have a priority setting built in to the cloth tag.

Cloth Deformer doesn't seem to work.
