Creating a Wet Surface/Concrete Look

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I'm trying this.

Tutorial is pretty clear but I'm working with physical render and I can't see anything after render.

The effect show up only if I use an area light with the shadows set on "area". Usually I use a simple rectangle with luminance and in this way nothing happen.

Thanks!

my English is terrible... so sorry.

You probably need GI for your rectangle to light the scene.  It should still show up in reflections though.  Attach your project file and someone can help.

P.S. your English is just fine!

GI is enabled... both in the materials palette and in the render settings...

my scene is too heavy... 9 mb.

9mb is not a huge file!  I can't remember what the limit is for the Cafe, but you could at least upload it to Dropbox or something.  Unless you mean 9GB??

It's really hard to diagnose the problem blindly.
