sine function in python xpresso node ?

Recommended Posts

Hello and happy new year

I'm a complete newbie in scripting, but I could not find help in other posts for my problem:

My python xpresso node fails to compile sin() or cos() functions, I cannot add "import math" in the python editor that comes with xpresso

I could find a workaround with a formula node where sine or cosine are accepted, but not inside python code

Is there someting that must be done before, setting python libraries for xpresso somewhere ?

I Have Studio R20, under windows

Works for me. Are you clicking compile and using 'math dot sin' ? Check menu, script, console for any Python error messages.

You do know that Python + Xpresso both use radians ?

360 deg = 2 * pi radians
