Hey guys wats up, so i made this character a few years back, for a cafe challenge, and came across it again a few days ago, and decided to push it further, mainly, i redid the head, changed a few proportions, remodelled and improved some bits and cleaned up some topo in places, now just doing some look dev on the grooming/ materials , currently  a wip, comments and critiques welcome :D  (click a few times to view larger )

    This is awesome!  The modeling, lighting, and materials are top-notch.  Can you upload a wireframe to show off your quads? 

    Maybe it's what you're going for, but there's something about his facial proportions that give him a baby-ish look.  The cheeks perhaps?  Just an observation.  You might consider going a bit further with his features (flatter, wider nose, larger lips, etc) to make him look more African.  The only other thing I'd change is curl his fingers around the light saber handle a bit more to make his grip more believable.

    Hey man, yea the goal of the initial challenge was to create a child warrior character, so my goal here while remodelling was to keep the childish look, while still giving him a warrior type image, i agree with the face proportions, i've been playing with these a lot, to try and get the right mix of exaggerated features ( wide nose, big lips etc ) while still trying to keep him some what baby faced, also i think the saber position just needs to be brought down a little , i can see it clipping through the thumb at the top :D , as for wires. yep i can stick a few of these up shortly
