Change cloner objects color animation

Recommended Posts

Using the new Multi Instance mode, I've created a cloner object and cloned my object (flower) it across a plane.

I want to have an object, say a circle, to move across the flowers and where they interact, change the flower color.

Could be collision based or some sort of gradient animation... would appreciate any thoughts.

Hello, Maor.

...

Is that in R20? You have R14 Broadcast in your profile...

...

There are several ways...

...

. With the cloner selected add an Shader Effector in the Mograph Menu.

. In the Shader effector:

   . Shading tab: color - select your new color - red in my case;

   . In the parameter uncheck Usa Alpha/Strength;

   . In the Falloff select a Spherical Field in the dropdown menu;

   . In the same Falloff work with size if not seen.

. Animate Falloff around as wanted.

...

I don't know if this is it... but here it goes.

...

Cheers.

This is without the shader effector. You can use the MoGraph Color Shader to apply the color of your clones (or flowers). You could also turn the effector color to black and use that to control Alpha of a material or a use it as a layer mask in a layer shader.

Thank you guys, both solutions looks awsome and works.

How can I change only the color/intensity of a light that's inside my flower clone?

Tried using a light object, also a cube with luminance - it seems as if the effctor chancges the color of the tube and the lights (and not any textured objects which makes sense I guess) - but it's not rendering it at all.
