Animating blocky mouth

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody... Does anybody know how i can animate certain areas on a 3D model to get this effect as seen on the attached GIF.. Some told me to use "animated noise, but i am not sure how or where to start...  I did not find any tutorials yet. Thanks in advanced for some feedback.

I deleted the sky which had an HDR and revised the file so just redownload that one. It should now open.

The shader uses a selection tag. The material uses a noise which is both moved in the X and animated.

Learning to dissect and study example files is a great way to learn C4D.

Whoever said that things don't make you happy obviously didn't have Cinema 4D

make sure animated preview is enabled, or you won't see the animation
