Hello.

...

A floor textured with some noises. Four layers.

...

In my modest opinion, noises open a new world... Although textures are a great start, or substance has great weapons, I think that if we could understand noises in a deep level, C4D will open really big doors to your imagination.

...

I really should have much more time with this...

...

Thanks for watching.

Hello, @Hrvoje

...

In fact there are four different tiles in there. And four reversed... with 8 different in total...

...

If you take a closer look you will find them...

...

But this is only an experiment... nothing fancy, just a free ride...

...

Thanks for watching.

...

Cheers.

If you fancy a challenge, now we can we see the same floor after 100 years of regular use and in general disrepair !? :)

Ideas?

...

I think tiles should be less even... more rough...

If you are interested in getting more out of procedural noises in C4D, this tutorial series is excellent.  https://www.fxphd.com/details/471/    It will predate v20's node based system but all the principles will apply.  Totally worth the buy.

@anglereserve

...

Thanks for that... Yes, those are great lessons... My thing here is more a artist point of view than a technical problem... I have much to train... that's for sure.

...

Great launcher... great ant, by the way... you have  super-modelling-skills.

...

Thanks for showing that to us all.

...

Cheers.
