Eyedropper / Color Picker not working

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Ever since updating to R20, the eyedropper doesn't work anymore.

At first, whenever I clicked it, cinema4d crashed completely. Lame.

Now, it doesn't crash anymore (don't know why) but when I click it, it's greyed out and it doesn't turn into an eyedropper. =(

Does anyone else has this problem? Are there ways to fix this?

I´m on win and with current latest update 20.059 for me works fine. Don´t remember any issues on my machine with colorpicker with earlier updates...

I have seen similar problems in the past that went away after updating to the latest driver for my graphics card.

Yep - used that just yesterday and all was fine, although having said that mine has appeared greyed out since R20, yet still works when you click it, for reasons that are a mystery to me... What OS are you running ?

  • Thanks for the replies!

    I run macOS Mojave 10.14

Tried looking up my graphics card for updates, but can't seem to find it for Mac.. :/ It's a Radeon Pro Vega 64 16Gb

I use the eyedropper a lot, so it's quite irritating!

    Hello,

In fact it's a mac osx mojave security problem. You have to activate in the system preferences security ( the little house) and allow c4d in the confidentiality part to control your computer . Sorry i'm not a regular user of mac osx and when I used it the interface is in French hope you understand what I mean.
