Recommended Posts

Dear Cinema 4D Community, we are thrilled to announce @Maxon3D has acquired @Redshift3D - cutting-edge GPU rendering which has quickly become an indispensable rendering solution for #Cinema4D artists and the entire creative community.

Feel free to use this topic to discuss Maxon NAB 2019 presentation. I think it will be heated here very soon.  :Bananeyessss:

10 min keynote from the new MAXON ceo!

Just announce the big news and wrap it up.

I like his style!

Tim Cook can learn something from this.

Great move!

I think this is a better purchase than Autodesk buying Arnold. GPU rendering has totally pushed into the future of rendering...and into the now of rendering. Arnold still has a long way to go w/GPU dev.

Dave is very cool and grounded guy, he never talked with any of us at Maxon with a bossy attitude. We truly believe he is capable to lead is in a better future.

The announcement speech was short and sweet. Well played. Still...I’d like to know if that means we’ll get it integrated into R21 or if it will still be standalone purchase.

Big surprise and a very good move! I’m using octane due to the low monthly sub. Looking forward to see if/how they integrate redshift with c4d.

Excellent, excellent, excellent :) Does that mean ProRender is eventually going in the bin  ?

Don't get too hyped guys, there's no word on if it's shipping with C4D at some point. It's still a seperate purchase.
