Background Image in Viewport problem

Hello everyone i have a problem when i want to put a image in the viewport:

 why this disable? that  it's the last step for put a image in the viewport

i use cinema 4D R19

Hi, It's because you are in perspective view port , try front or side.

Yes, being able to load a BG image in that viewport would make no sense.

    i try and nothing happened? why? maybe i need tweak in the "preference settings"

    it's for default, even when i open new document :(  whats hapenned?  thanks for your help

    Please create a folder with the BG image and save the c4d file to that folder and post the link to it here.
