Noob question about cloner and effectors

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Got a very simple scene of cloned 30 X 30 cubes.

I've applied a shader effector using a 2d circular gradient effecting the Y position. I've inverted the gradient but can't work out why it's doing what it is.

Instead of getting raised cubes radiating out from the middle, I'm getting a consistent raised ridge across the whole of the Z axis.

Could be a very simple issue, because that's the kind of person I am :)

Thanks.

Is the attached what you're looking to do? I added Spherical Field to the Falloff.

Daft question. How do I do that? When I go into my profile there isn't an option to change the version I'm using.

    Thanks.

There's an Edit Profile Button, top right of your profile. Version options are in there... cheers
