Compositing with Camera Calibrator Tags.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, so I've been compositing images i've taken with 3d models using the camera calibrator in Cinema 4d.

Often times when i'm compositing if I want something behind me I have to move it into position, imagining it's behind me and mask out the part that's in front of me within photoshop.

Is there a way I can do this in cinema 4d without having to mask/erase in photoshop? Maybe like a subtractive alpha mask or something, I don't know what i'm saying but I think yall get me.

Yeah there's no way for C4D to know that your legs should be behind that object. You will have to do it in Photoshop for stills, and for video use masks in AE and keyframe or, better yet, use Mocha AE to roto your legs.
