Weight tag questions

I have been trying for hours to figure this one out. 

How to achieve correct deformation with the weight tag. the fingers get all squished.

I can't seem to get it right, either it's to much or its not enough and parts of the mesh don't move. 

I looked on this forum regarding using the weight tag, but haven't really seen anything.

Does any one know of a tutorial some where that speaks to this?

Try to check headphone guy from content browser. It´s also kind of cartoon concept...

Or try to rig simple cylinder. At first with high segmentation, then with lower and last as lowpoly with the same joint rig...

    I looked at the headphone guy and it does have a cartoon concept, it also has a really useful Xpresso tags to control the curl of the fingers. Thank you!

    Do you know of some tutorials on how to create these Xpresso rigs?
