Can you Import Zbrush Polypaint to C4D?

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I am looking for a quick and dirty way to import Zbrush Polypaint to C4D. I've heard of a plugin for 3ds Max that allows you to import polypaint (vector colormap) without  having to have UV's. I was curious if there is a C4D equivalent out there.

Thanks!

I forget the exact name of what the polypaint would be called.  There was something, but I would recommend the following.

Retopo the mesh in Zbrush and bake the maps out.  The zbrush mesh is normally way too dense anyway.  Zbrush's autotopo is pretty good if it's going to be a static mesh.  It should take 1 min. to do with autotopo.
