Experienced animator needed

Recommended Posts

I'm currently bidding on a project. It's a 4 to 5 minute video mostly consisting of 3D animations. There's no character, it's mostly very technical. I'm looking for a backup C4D artist to do part of it, just in case I need it. I need someone that can turn around pretty quickly  and won't cost me my shirt. The project would consist on modeling, texturing and animating the device. It's a high-tech device so it would need some interesting effects.

How do I find the best person for this job? How do I make sure that person is qualified?

Don't forget the magic triangle ! You can't have good and cheap AND fast - only 2 of those at once ! Fast and good is expensive, because it took a long time to get those skills...

You can post better details of it, and any supporting artwork you have, and people with the right skills will apply when they can see in more detail what is required. People who are good at this will be able to show you things they have done before, either on their own website, or in my case, via my galleries here on the cafe, which you can find by visiting people's profiles. You can also get an idea of that person's level by looking at their cafe reputation score, and reading some of their recent posts...

I'm a modelling specialist myself, but have done some technical animation, so may be able to help - please feel free to post the details, and I'll be able to see if I have solutions in mind and  the right skills to apply ! 5 minutes of animation is a hell of a lot of it, so you may very well need help ! 🙂

  • Thanks guys. I just sent my bid. waiting for a decision.

BTW, it's a 4-5 minute video, which means it should be approximately 3 minutes of actual animation.

    Thanks.
