How can I save an image of my UVs?

I'm coming from Maya and in usually in the UV edit window I go to Image>Save UV Snapshot, which just saves an image of the UVs (after specifying the format and where to save it). 

 

Is there anything similar in C4D?

If you have a material on your object with a texture applied to it then go to the BodyPaint Layout. Select the Layers Tab. Click on this button on the bottom.

Then Right click on the new UV Mesh layer and choose "Texture->Save Texture As"

You can also look into using C4D ProjectionMan if you want to go forwards and back with Photoshop for texturing. Since I believe it also creates a UV layer for you as part of the process.

Great thanks for this info, that's what I was looking for.  I'll look into ProjectionMan since I am constantly alt+tabbing between PS and C4D.
