Layers (Bring to top)

Recommended Posts

I currently run Broadcast R20.

One of the things I have come across that I have been unable to get an answer for is:

I have a model with roughly 1000 layers to it. I like to organize pieces of the model in groups. Is there a way that you can select a few layers in the middle of the layer structure, and bring those layers to the top of the layer structure?

Thanks in advance.

You mean other than by selecting and dragging them there ?

Cerbera - Yes. With such a massive selection of layers, if I select 20 or 30 in the middle, I would have to drag them up or down and hold them there for a few minutes until they are outside the group. I was hoping there was a 'Bring layer(s) to top' or such command that I am unaware of.

Thanks!

I have the same problem.

But I figured it out!

You can open another OBJECTS TAB, little plus icon next to the object tab on the right hand side. (attached)

So now you should have 2 OBJECTS tabs.

1 to scroll though your layers and the other to drag your layers from the first tab to the second to organise.

Hope this help 🙂
