Scripts: Traverse Joint Tree (free)

Recommended Posts

as recently the question came up how to traverse the joint tree efficiently, I promised to look at the matter. So, here are four scripts to walk the skeleton up, down, to the next or previous joint (nulls are allowed). The downward direction opens a menu under the mouse pointer if there are multiple dependent joints.

The scripts do not define your workflow, you can bind them to any keyboard shortcut you like.

Note that the scripts are free to use. They are published als part of the Python: Spoonfed course but can be used without programming knowledge.

Nevertheless, the course could currently benefit from more subscribers. If you want to see more scripts (and yes, while the course is progressing the scripts do get longer and more complicated), please consider joining as a patron. Or spread the word. I'm happy about any new followers.
