Turn hair simulation into Object

Hey peeps, 

 

i'm trying to turn the hair simulation into a 3d model? Like I wanna remove the dynamics from it and make it stiff so that it just becomes what i would see in the render.

is there any way to do that?

Yes of course. You can freeze the dynamics by going to Frame 0 and hitting relax a few times, which will reset the dynamics so they run from the relaxed state.

Also you can convert the hair in that state to polygons as defined in the Generate tab of the hair object (circle probably approximates the look you have now best.  Remember to turn off hair rendering as you don't want to see both, then select the hair object and CStO to get a frozen polygon copy.
