Open.EXR File Format

Recommended Posts

Hey all, having previously saved out Open.EXR for regular and multi-pass (using eXtractor in AE to separate layers) and it working perfectly, I assume I have accidentally tweaked the render save settings. Now when I render out as Open.EXR for my multi-pass the depth, Motion Vector and Object buffer save in different files as opposed to all being within the same Open.EXR. Anyone encountered this issue before?

You are saving as a composite project file which does not use a multi layer file as it arranges all the passes for the comp application. Switch off comp project and you get your multilayer option.
