Use plain effector to fade on emission?

I have a series of lights I'm trying to turn on in sequence. I have filaments with an emission tag that illuminates as a post pass.


Problem is I can only control them with the position, scale, and rotation parameters in the plain effector. I can't fade them on and off via the color shader like I can with other objects.


And the visibility parameter is an analog on/off, and I need them to fade. Any suggestions?

  • Just figured it out, it's a cloner set to blend with a Mix Material applied, and that Mix Material being driven by a plain effector.


    Don't even need multiple objects in the cloner, just the one!
