Render Farms

Recommended Posts

I am really not sure which one I could recommend. Most of people are happy with Pixel Plow so its really hard to say. Any feedback on those two, have you tried? Whats the issue?

Hi Igor

No issue other that people keep saying to me that Rebus is the most expensive out there. Not tried Pixel Plow yet but I am going to give it a go. I was looking at investing in another GPU based render machine but that would cost me £2k+. If I can find a reasonable render farm then I could put the money towards a new pair of GPUs for my existing computer which would be nice 🙂

Unfortunately render farms can be a bit expensive depending on what you need to render, so for some would make more sense just to invest in good graphic cards, but I gues for some, farms are better. So its really up to you and your needs. I dont think that you can find a farm thats much more less expensive than some other farms.

pixel plow is much cheaper than rebus , especially if you utilize the priority slider. if you can wait a couple of hours for your renders it makes a significant difference in cost.
