See xParticles in After Effects with xpDisplayRender?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I have a scene with some xParticles, which I render using xpDisplayRender.

I like it because it avoids "real" geometry in the scene and e.g. arrows can be rendered directly.

When I render to picture viewer (Standard Renderer) all is fine.

However dropping the scene-file into After Effects let's the particles disappear.

I have selected "Standard (Final)" as Renderer in Cineware and cached the particle simulation in C4D using xpCache.

I'd really like to use XP with AE so all help is appreciated 🙂
